It can be cultivated for up to 4 years with three mowing per year.

It is a valuable nitrogen-harvesting plant, an excellent forecrop. It can not be grown for 4 years after itself and other red clover variety.

Recommended seed quantity: 20-25 kg/ha

Egyptian clover

Egyptian clover, or berseem, Trifolium alexandrinum, a very important crop, for  fodder and soil fertility  maintenance. Berseem is also widely  used in large-scale livestock systems in areas of mild winters in Europe. Berseem fixes huge quantities of atmospheric nitrogen, sustains animal husbandry and raises fertility for following crops. As a green manure on newly reclaimed or worn out soils, it is a boon to farmers.

Recommended seed quantity: 10-15 kg/ha

Recommended sowing time: middle of March until April or August
